Amber is originally from Baltimore, Maryland.
She has a long history with occupational therapy. In 2014, she graduated from the occupational therapy assistant program at the Community College of Baltimore County in Baltimore, Maryland. She obtained a bachelors of science in Health Sciences from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017. Her passion is in pediatric occupational therapy and she has experience in outpatient pediatric therapy and school-based occupational therapy. Amber always knew that she wanted to become an occupational therapist. Therefore, she made the decision to pursue her MSc in Occupational Therapy. She is very passionate about her role as an occupational therapist and continuing professional development. Amber hopes to work in policy one day, more specifically, work for the U.S. Department of Education to help create a more inclusive education system.

Kyaira
Occupational Therapy Student
Kyaira is originally from Houston, Texas.
She obtained a bachelor of arts degree in communication sciences and disorders because she originally was on route to become a speech-language pathologist until she realized that occupational therapy was more suitable for her (SLP is an amazing profession though!). She has 5 years of experience working in the acute care setting as a certified nurse assistant. Kyaira has a passion for working with the adult population, particularly those with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. She loves to travel and explore the world. Eventually she hopes to be able to become a travel therapist and work all over the United States.
